From Cinque Terre, we decided to train down to Pisa "on the way home to Lucca". (See the orange dots on the map.) It was dark when we got to Pisa, and I must say that even in the dark, the town looked pretty trashy . . . except for the Duomo and of course the Leaning Tower.

It was a short visit, as we did not wander off the trail from station to Duomo and back.
