Public school teacher cracks. As expected, the day does not end well.

The Lars Anderson Italian car event, today.
5X more people there than ever before.
Parked way up the hill, took the shuttle back and forth.
Caring for the back yard after almost 2 years of neglect (for various reasons). Had spots weeded and mulched. Looks much better today. Except for that awful vine on the garage. That will soon be gone and more plants added on the ground.
St. Francis is guarding the headstones for Zeke, Zach, Sabrina, Lexi and Blue among the hostas.
Nat'l Geographic proclaimed there are more various species of weeds on my property than all the rest of North America.
For various reasons, over the last 20 years, I have posted pictures in various places (photo forums mostly). They don't let you upload stuff onto their servers, you have to upload the pictures to some other server on the internet and then post a "hot link" to the picture. So, years back I created a dumping ground for my stuff that I wanted to link to. I now have hundreds of these pictures, in no particular category or order, stored in this place (server space I rent).
For no good reason, I have made a web page to scroll through this stuff. And, for what it's worth ..... here are those "Webpics" (Be patient, this takes a while to load !
We were supposed to go with Jim and Audree to Portsmouth today, but prostate flare-up meant we weren't going. They sent a selfie from the pier up there and I am enjoying the trip vicariously at the moment.
Pretty sure the doctor will sign me up for some testing (did this 5 years ago ! ).
Have a good day, kids.
Way too hot to leave the house, but . . . I went to the botanic garden to see if it was cooler there. It was not and I lasted about 20 minutes. In the forest shade it wasn't bad, except for the flies and mosquitoes, but the sun added 100 which got it close to 100.
Made 3 pictures. Here is one.
Suzie D-C is moving down to NC any day now, and we dropped in on her to finish off the cheeze and crackers and say goddbye. She's definitely a first-class lady.
(That's Obi, rescued from a shelter and nicely spoiled !!!)
Chilled out yesterday in Mike's hammock, bluetoothing Jazz into my head. Actually fell asleep until a drum solo woke me up. I remember when I was a small kid often falling asleep in a hammock in my Grandma Fazio's yard. Told my mother I slept out there all night, but I could see that smirk on her face about who carried me up to bed then?
Last night I watched one of the crappiest Hammer movies ever - The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964). Script was so bad I could have punched someone. I fell asleep (mercifully) before it ended.
Reading a book ("No Good Men Among the Living") on Afghanistan from the 1979 Russian invasion until recently. What a tragedy. Everything about that story is tragic. Those poor people, victims of violent external and internal forces. There was never a solution to the conflicts, probably never will be.
