This was a wonderful place. Took me back to when I was a kid and loved loved airplanes. You really have to stand there a while and stare at the details of each plane to "get into it" - that old technology and craftmanship. If you ever designed and made anything, or if you ever took something apart, fixed it, made it better and put it back together, you have to love this place.
It was equally inspiring to read the biographies of the astronauts (rooms of their memorabilia). Their accomplishments in engineering, science and military (and then space travel) service were so impressive, you read the bios almost in disbelief. True high-achievers and wonderful role models.
