Gallery 4 is a set of 10 photos in and around the Grand Canyon.

Gallery 5 displays some local "scenics".

Gallery 6 is under construction.

Gallery 7 is what it is.

Some Tutorial Notes

Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1945.

In my "career", I was an engineer, retired on the spur of the moment on Oct.05.2007 at the Napa Valley Grille in Providence, Rhode Island, as follows . . . .
Jim: So, Dave, what are you up to these days?
Me: I'm retired.
Deb (my wife): What?
[ . . . and the rest is history]

I'm legally deaf, which is bad (I love Jazz) and good (I don't have to listen or respond to mindless party chatter).

These days I use digital cameras; though I still have many of the film cameras I've used over the years (nicely displayed in a glass cabinet). I postprocess every image to some extent; I am not shy about heavy digital processing to get where an image wants to take me. I generally crop and print to 8X10 and matte to 11X14, but printing 12X18's is working it's way into my scheme of things. At the moment, I use a lab for printing, but keep threatening to start doing it myself any day now.
